4.2 litre engine and gearbox assembly. The engine was found to have a variety of problems, essentially through lack of use. The piston crowns and combustion chambers had alloy corrosion forming. The bottom of the waterways in the block contained a large amount of sediment, which would not have helped with cooling. All was salvageable with a 0.020" rebore, a 0.010" crank grind and careful reassembly.
